Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 391

Chapter 391

{Ding! Your lover, Ayesha, has been poisoned in an accident.}

The first thing Keith heard as soon as he woke up was a System Prompt, and his eyes narrowed as soon as they opened.

“Explain.”

Ever since he had directed the System to inform him if anyone from his Family came to harm, even if it cost some Fate Value, it was the first time that he had received such an alert.

However, since the System did not disturb his rest, it was likely that it was nothing too severe, but he still wanted to know if everything was under control.

{She got poisoned during a spar with your wife, Qingyue, who found herself a little hard-pressed against Nana and her, leading to her losing her composure. That lapse in her concentration resulted in her unleashing a Poison that stemmed from her agitation. The poison won’t harm Ayesha’s life, but in two days, she will likely fall into a coma. Right now, she’s shaken up, and even though her Bloodline has not awakened, it is helping her stay awake and fight back. The chances that she won’t fall into a coma and will be able to deal with it on her own are 19%. If she does fall into a Coma, it will take her several weeks to wake up from it on her own.}

Keith sighed in his heart after hearing the explanation and then looked at his blonde bride, who was standing naked next to a life-sized Magical Mirror. Her curious eyes were looking right back at him.

“Is everything okay?” She asked, having noticed him frown when he woke up.

“Yes.” He smiled at her and then got out of bed. “Let’s go take a bath. Have you checked the room?”

“Yes!” She happily nodded her head and then followed him into the bathroom, which was more of a Hammam with dozens of different pools inside it, and each pool was large enough to accommodate dozens of people of their size.

“Every pool contains a different type of water with varying concentrations of Aura and Mana. There are Runes and Spells in effect here. Some will aid you in recovery, some will help you relieve mental fatigue, others will help you gather Mana and Aura faster, and then some pools will help you toughen up and improve your physique. You can choose one depending on your needs or moods…” Keith told her why there were so many different pools in his private bathroom and Rebecca was a little dumbfounded before she happily sped over and inspected each one of them.

Every pool had its information next to it in a Divine Language that she understood. She quickly glanced at all the information, and then grabbed his hand to pull him inside a pool that she had chosen.

It was the one to relax in.

A couple of hours later, the two of them, now dressed in new clothes that Keith kept in his storage ring, all bought from the System, arrived inside a living room where only Yingying was present.

She was sitting cross-legged on a round sofa, meditating, and as soon as she heard their steps, she opened her eyes and stood up.

“Master.” The girl respectfully bowed to him and smiled when their eyes met.

“They left?” He knowingly asked, and his Shadow nodded her head.

“Lady Kiara was bored of eating fruits and vegetables, and she was also a little concerned about everyone at the Mourntale Estate.”

“I see.” Keith nodded to her understandably.

Nine days had passed since they arrived inside Aerzaar, and almost a day had passed on Gaia. Adding the five and a half days that they had stayed by the side of the lake, waiting for Yexuan, they had been absent for over six Gaia days, and the people waiting for them were likely quite worried.

He turned to look at his blonde bride, who was curiously looking at everything. Since she had spent all the time by his side in his room, she had not explored the Palace like the rest, and it was magical enough to hold her interest and rouse her curiosity. She was clearly yearning to explore it.

“Let’s go.”

“Mhm.” Rebecca nodded her head to him, not insisting on staying since she knew that they could always come here again.

More than that, she knew that it would not be as fun to explore it on her own as it would be with Kiara around.

Following Keith, the two girls took a door with the space curtain which was situated inside the hallway outside the living room, and arrived inside the Infinite Hall.

“Ask the Palace to show you the way outside Aerzaar.”

Rebecca smiled at his words and then curiously looked at the Night Sky above their head.

“Show us the way to Gaia.” She lightly said, and immediately, a door on their left lit up. “Wow!” She giggled and then happily brisked over to it, watching the door open on its own. She stepped inside it as soon as Keith and Yingying arrived by her side.

Everything happened in a blink of an eye, and the next moment, she found herself exactly where they had entered Aerzaar from, next to the lake that was still frozen and broken.

She frowned a little as she felt the lack of Aura and Mana in this world, and for some reason, she found the air a little too dirty. It irked her a lot, but she got over it very quickly.

“Even though Aerzaar emulates the Aura and Mana of the world we are present in, it still purifies and amplifies both.” Keith gave her some information, and her mind worked out the rest.

“So, if we go to Lower Heaven, Aerzaar will change?” Yingying curiously asked, and he nodded his head to her.

“It will take a couple of weeks for it to emulate the world we would arrive in.” He told her. “Up for a run?” He asked, and as soon as they both nodded their heads, he blurred from his position.

Rebecca and Yingying followed after him, and since he was not pushing himself, the two managed to catch up with him as they rushed towards the Mourntale Estate.

It was early morning, and the sun was already up.

When they arrived at the Estate, the children were leaving the exercise grounds and heading to their compounds for breakfast.

The Blood Guards were stationed outside the compound where Amelia and the rest were staying, and the vehicles were ready too, something that made Rebecca frown.

She could tell that something was up.

Right when they stopped at the front porch, Kiara rushed out, wearing a worried expression.

“Brother, Qingyue called. Ayesha had an accident…” She immediately told him what happened in Sameran, and Keith calmly listened to her. “Yue did not mean it. She’s devastated. She has been trying to create an Antidote but…”

“She can not create one if she is not emotionally stable.” Rebecca sighed and turned to look at Keith.

The two exchanged a glance and then Keith decided on what they were going to do.

“I will return to Sameran. You and Amelia will deal with things here.”

“Okay.” The blonde nodded her head.

The job was not finished yet as they had to deal with the enemies of the Mourntale.

Hazenborne had already surrendered, which was accepted by Amelia, but they still had to deal with Jafferys, Solanari, and Mondini.

It was not going to be hard, but she still needed to be there with Amelia to make sure that Mourntale earned the victory through their own efforts and did not get everything served to them on a plate.

“Brother!” Two more voices called out in unison and the twins came rushing out, looking quite anxious as well.

Amira stopped, but Reina came forward and tightly hugged him.

“You want to come with me?” He gently asked, and both the girls nodded their heads. “Pack your stuff then.”

“We are ready,” The older twin informed him, and he smiled at her.

They met the rest of the girls at the Main Compound, where they had breakfast with the Mourntale Family.

Keith was not in a rush and he talked with Amelia’s uncle and grandfather regarding the issues, and he even met with the last Arya Guard, telling him that Yexuan was dead.

The man was immensely grateful to him and then took his leave, ready to return to India with the bodies of his companions and Young Master.

Iseul was going to stay with Rebecca and Amelia, but Kiara was keen on returning as she wanted to make sure that Yue was okay and was not blaming herself too much.

Minami did not say anything, but everyone knew that she was going to go with Keith, and after bidding the Mourntale Family and little Helena farewell, the family left for the Airport.

On their way, his phone suddenly rang, and he sighed in his heart when he saw that it was a call from Alana.

“Good morning.” He picked it up and gently greeted her, and soon heard her cheerful voice.

“Good morning! When will you be coming over?” She straightforwardly asked, and he could sense from her voice that she was missing him.

“In a few days. I am going to Sameran today, and after dealing with a few things, I will come to you. How’s Kashish?”

“She’s fine. And her younger brother has been asking to meet you as well. He’s quite protective of her.” She giggled, and Keith heard a little boy complain behind her, which prompted her to giggle some more. “We were making plans for the next weekend, so we wanted to ask if you will be here by then.”

“I will be there.” He told her and smiled when he heard Alana high-five the little Mir.

“I love you! Bye!”

“Be safe.” He smiled and ended the call, putting the phone away.

Kiara could not help but sigh when the call ended and Keith leaned back in the seat, closing his eyes.

They all knew that Alana would be devastated after learning about Yexuan’s death, and they also knew that Keith was not going to hide it from her that he was the one who killed her adopted brother.

Things were surely going to be hectic in the coming few weeks.
