Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 326 326

Chapter 326 326

“Let’s go out for a ride!” Kiara excitedly announced after they finished their dinner, and Kashish could only nod her head, agreeing to it.

The little miss of the Demiliore Family was truly a Car Enthusiast, and she was hooked on the new car that Keith had gifted to Kashish today, even though she owned one and it was sitting in the garage back at the Manor.

Kiara truly knew how to have fun and pull everyone into it, and when Keith watched Amira and Reina brimming with excitement at his little sister’s suggestion, he could only helplessly sigh.

“May I come?” He asked.

“Girl’s night!” And Kiara refused him, and then mischievously stuck her tongue out at him.

Keith knew that she planned on getting closer to Kashish and also wanted to make the girl understand what being around her future sister-wives felt like.

It was not untrue that there was never a dull day back at the Manor when the girls were all together.

There was always some fun activity on their cards, all thanks to the likes of Kiara, Rebecca, and Celine, who truly knew how to have fun. This was one of the reasons why everyone got along really well with each other, and they all had developed a sisterly relationship where they were very comfortable around each other.

As they had decided, the girls left right after dinner, leaving only his Shadow with him. Had Kiara not insisted on it, Minami would have stayed as well, but she was very keen on taking her along with them.

And with both Iseul and Minami with them, everyone’s safety was guaranteed, which was not really an issue, but a caution that Keith never compromised upon.

Then again, with both Kiara and Kashish in the Peak Stages of True Profound Realm, Iseul in the Middle Stage of Spirit Profound Realm, and Minami at the Peak of Spirit Profound Realm, they were capable of handling even the worst if it came their way, or at least until he arrives by their side if needed, which he could do quite instantly as long as they were within his range, though he would require some help from the System.

“Rest.” He ordered Yingying, who obediently nodded to him and left for her room, and then he got up and took out the book on the Art of Forging from the System Inventory and headed into the study room.

But before he got into his nightly reading session, he checked the System Notifications that he had muted.

[Ding! The Host had deprived the Child of Destiny, Samrath Arya, of the opportunity to acquire the Aura Stone to use it as fuel to access the Fragment of the Book of Life once again. 500 Fate Points have been successfully plundered.]

[Ding! The Host’s ministrations have shaken the confidence of the Child of Destiny, Samrath Arya, and have made him question his talent. 75 Fate Points have been successfully plundered.]

[Ding! The Host’s ministrations have led to Samrath feeling more uneasy about Kashish, making his heart more restless. 50 Fate Points have been successfully plundered.]

There were just three notifications, but it was a good harvest. And it was a great blow to Samrath’s future that he had lost the opportunity to access the Fragment of the Book of Life once again to learn some secrets and advance his Medicinal Skills.

“Show me his details,” Keith instructed.

[Main Quest 5: Kill the Child of Destiny, Samrath Arya. (Rewards: 2500 System Points. 2000 System Experience. The fourth Fragment of the Book of Life).]

[Difficulty: Easy.]

[Time Limit: None.]

Keith only really wanted to take a look at the Fate Value of Samrath. And as he had guessed, the Child of Destiny’s Fate Value had indeed risen a little in the last few days. However, it was negligible as it had only risen by 50 Points, which was truly a sad thing.

Other than that, the Strength, Constitution, and Speed & Reflexes Values of Samrath had seen a rise too, but it was nothing he cared about.

The difference between them was just that great, and the poor Young Master of the Ancient Arya Family was only a sheep ready to be slaughtered by him as soon as his Invincible Halo wore off in a month.

He was still hoping that Samrath’s Fate Value would rise a little, which would convince Keith to keep him around a little longer to plunder some more luck from him, but if there was no such significant rise by the time his Invincible Halo wears off, he was just going to finish him off.

It was not about getting bored this time as Keith truly had a lot of things on his hands nowadays. In fact, he had more important things to pay attention to than this Child of Destiny, especially his Battle Art, The Nine Discs of Demise, and the Devil Sutra, which he was reading every day now.

Other than that, he had his hands full with the ladies who were living in this mansion with him. And frankly, he considered training them more important than dealing with Samrath.

Then there was this book that he was about to read now, which would help him learn more about the Art of Forging and develop his Skill.

It was nearly midnight when Keith’s watch suddenly buzzed, and he frowned a little when he saw the caller ID.

“Yes, Iseul?”

“Senpai, Samrath just got into a confrontation with the Young Master of the Rovic Family, Liam. It was over the girl you asked me to keep an eye on.”

“Sunaina Singh?” He smiled.

“Yes.”

“Where are you?”

“At Elantra.”

Elantra was Griffin City’s biggest club, and she informed him that they were all there and it was there that they witnessed Samrath getting into a confrontation with the Young Master of the biggest and richest family in Griffin City.

“I see.”

“And where is Samrath right now?”

“He’s left with the girl and is on his way to drop her off at her house.” She informed him. “Liam has already sent men after him, including a guard that is in the Late Stage of True Profound Realm.”

Keith remained silent after he heard those words and recalled the Plan of Destiny that was designed for Samrath which he had read in his dream.

Things were changing, and they were really happening at a faster pace than they were supposed to.

However, since he had deprived the Child of Destiny of a very important opportunity to access the Fragment of the Book of Life again, it was understandable that the Destiny would compensate its favoured child.

“Your instructions, Master?” Iseul asked.

“Have fun with the girls and just keep tabs on everyone.” He instructed and ended the call after she acknowledged his command.

The Young Master of the Rovic Family was an idiot who had just sent one of his prized men to be slaughtered.

Even if Samrath himself did not take action, the people in the Shadows, who were protecting him, would take care of everything.

Keith did not plan on taking action right now. There was no need for it, and Samrath would definitely gain some Fate Value after conquering Sunaina.

He had always planned on letting the Child of Destiny acquire the Quasi-Heroine that Destiny had planned for him. Because him losing her afterwards would hurt the most.

And most importantly, the two were bound to each other by Sacred Bonds.

Samrath was not like the Children of Destiny he had dealt with before. He was an ambitious man, but at the same time, he was a very principled person who possessed a really good heart.

It was also why, despite his obvious attraction towards Kashish, and a constant struggle with his heart, he would never take an initiative towards her as long as he believed that she belonged to another man and was happy with him.

Such people had their weaknesses, but they were quite strong too. Killing Sunaina before they formed a very strong bond was not going to hurt Samrath much, and it would not have any drastic effect on his mental state, which was quite strong. He was not insecure like the previous Children of Destiny, and he was smarter than them as well.

However, even the smartest and the strongest had weaknesses, and he was going to allow Sunaina to become Samrath’s weakness.

Being a Quasi-Heroine, she was quite special, not as special as Kashish or the other Main Heroine in another world who was meant for Samrath, but she still possessed the Heavenly Vitra Physique. A Physique that was known for its outrageous vitality and passion and came with its own quirks.

It was quite an interesting Physique, and Keith planned on harvesting it after killing the girl. Luckily, a few ladies in his family possessed an affinity for it, and any one of them would benefit a lot if they possessed it.

Clearing his mind of all the thoughts, Keith once again immersed himself in the Art of Forging. He had not decided whom he wanted to give the Heavenly Vitra Physique, and he did not plan on giving it to anyone anytime soon. Therefore, he had left the decision open for the right time.
