Villain Ch 311. Will I Become an Outsider Again?

Just as Allen was lost in thought, the waitress appeared with a warm smile, carrying their orders on a tray. “Here you go,” she said cheerfully as she placed the plates in front of them. “Baked fish for you,” she said, looking at Allen, “and chicken pasta bake for you,” she added, addressing Geralt.

“Enjoy your meal, and let me know if you need anything else. Have a great time!” she wished them before disappearing into the bustling restaurant.

The aroma of the freshly cooked dishes wafted up from the plates, tickling their noses and instantly stimulating their appetites. The food looked not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with vibrant colors and enticing textures.

Geralt’s eyes lit up at the sight of the dishes, and he couldn’t wait to dig in. A smile bloomed on his face. His stomach grumbled in anticipation, and he picked up his fork eagerly, ready to savor every bite. But when he glanced at Allen, he noticed his friend was still silent, looking at the food blankly.

Allen remained silent, his mind preoccupied with the revelations from earlier. His thoughts were a whirlwind of emotions, memories, and unanswered questions. The sight of the delicious meal in front of him barely registered as his mind raced with the possibility of reconnecting with his past.

Geralt noticed Allen’s distraction and reached across the table, placing a reassuring hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked, his voice gentle and filled with concern.

Allen looked up, breaking free from his reverie, and forced a small smile. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he replied, though his eyes betrayed the turmoil inside him. “Just… a lot to process, you know?”

Allen mechanically picked up his eating utensils and started eating, but from his expression, it was evident that his mind was still deep in thought. The taste of the food barely registered as he wrestled with the flood of emotions that had been unleashed by Geralt’s revelation.

“Is it because of that club? Does it ring a bell?” Geralt asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Allen nodded, taking a moment to compose his thoughts before he replied. “Yeah, Club 36,” he admitted. “That’s the place where my mom and my biological dad first met.”

Geralt’s eyes widened in disbelief, and he half-screamed in shock. “What?!” he exclaimed, trying to wrap his mind around the revelation.

The sudden outburst from Geralt had caught the attention of other diners, making them glance in their direction.

“Sorry.” Geralt’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly offered a sheepish smile before turning his focus back to Allen.

“So that man has something to do with your biological father?” Geralt asked, his curiosity now mixed with concern. He pushed his plate aside, barely touching his food, as his full attention was on his friend.

“I thought he didn’t know that you existed,” Geralt continued, his voice serious. He knew how delicate this topic was for Allen, and he wanted to tread carefully.

“He shouldn’t know,” Allen admitted, his voice tinged with frustration. “But I tried to find information about him for two years on social media. I guess he probably found out about me from there,” he surmised, trying to piece together the puzzle.

Geralt nodded thoughtfully, processing the information. “It’s possible,” he acknowledged. “Social media can be more powerful than any weapon sometimes,” he suggested as he picked up his eating utensils and started eating. π˜¦π˜―π‘œπ˜·π˜¦π˜.𝗇𝓔t

“Did someone contact you after that?” asked Geralt again, his curiosity still piqued.

Allen shook his head sadly. “No, not really,” he replied. “I rarely use social media, but all of my accounts are active. I should receive a notification if someone sends a message or tries to connect with me, but nothing comes through.”

Geralt furrowed his brows, pondering the situation. “That’s odd,” he remarked. “It’s like this man knew something about you and your family, but he hasn’t tried to contact you directly.”

Allen nodded, feeling a mix of frustration and confusion. “It’s like he’s leaving breadcrumbs, but for what purpose?” he wondered aloud.

Geralt’s eyes lit up with an idea. “You should go home then,” he suggested, leaning forward. “See if you can find out some things from there. Maybe this man left something for you, a clue or a message. Just visit them and catch up with them, you know, like a normal guest.”

“Yeah. I think I will,” Allen replied, determination gleaming in his eyes. “I’ll let my brother know and let him choose a good day for us to meet. I want to talk without my stepdad around,” he added, knowing that having a private conversation would be crucial to getting the answers he sought.

Geralt nodded in support, offering his friend an encouraging smile. “Good luck, man,” he said sincerely. “I hope you can get the answers you’re looking for.”

“Thanks,” Allen said, his smile growing wider. He appreciated Geralt’s unwavering support and understanding.

As they ate, Allen’s mind remained fixated on the mysterious man and the revelation that had turned his world upside down. His curiosity gnawed at him, yet he couldn’t find the right words to express his emotions. So much was left unsaid, and he grappled with a torrent of thoughts and feelings that threatened to overwhelm him.

Will he accept me as his son? Will he even want to see him after all these years?

The questions echoed in his mind, each one like a relentless drumbeat. Allen had grown up feeling like an outsider in his own home, and now the possibility of meeting his biological father only intensified those feelings of uncertainty.

But what if he already has a family? What if he has moved on and found happiness with someone else, creating a perfect family portrait without any room for him? The fear of being a burden, a disruption to someone else’s life, weighed heavily on his heart.

In the end, only one question remained in his mind… Will he become an outsider again?
