Chapter 282 A Dream

Chapter 282 A Dream

‘Why is everything so Dark?’ Alex thought, disoriented, and as he tried to open his eyes, they remained shut.

After multiple failed attempts, panic set in as he attempted to move his hands, only to discover that he couldn’t feel them, and with that, he also realized he couldn’t feel any part of his body.

Alex even failed to control his mana, making him realize that he had no control over his body, and the only thing he had was his consciousness and the ability to think clearly.

‘System’

‘Galatic System’

After not getting any response, Alex felt even more panic as the very first thing that came to his mind was that he was somehow in a coma.

‘Stay Calm’ ‘Stay Calm’

‘This is definitely not a dream as I can think very clearly and remember everything of my life, or at least I assume I do,’

‘The last thing I remember is eating the evolution fruit, and now I am in a place of darkness and can’t do anything but think,’

‘Is this a test to see if I am worthy of consuming a treasure such as the evolution fruit?’

‘Or something went wrong with the forceful evolution that made my conscience experience a backlash, which in turn affected my brain in real life, making me enter a state of coma,’

‘It is very well a possibility, as the last time I gained major benefits in the ancient world from the third test of might reward, I awakened mana in real life,’ Alex thought, going over the best and worst possible scenarios.

‘If I am in a coma, then it is worrisome, but I can’t do anything about it, and panicking wouldn’t help, and if this is a test, then I need to find a way to clear it and get the hell out of this place,’ Alex thought, taking imaginary breaths to keep his mind calm.

Alex had multiple thoughts in just a few moments and decided to do the most rational thing and not drown himself in crippling despair, knowing that dwelling on it would yield no positive outcomes.

Alex could not move or see, and knowing the worst and best scenario, he believed that if it was a test, it would be related to will, so the only thing he needed to do was endure the pitch and silent darkness to pass it.

However, if he was in some state of coma, then the only option Alex had to get out of this situation was to sense mana inside his body and use it to recover.

Alex was minutes into trying to sense mana when he heard an emotionless, deep, resonant, and ethereal voice that felt as if it was originating from the depths of his own mind.

“So they Finally decided to show up,” The voice echoed in Alex’s mind with an eerie calmness, each word imbued with a commanding authority that sent shivers down his spine.

Before Alex could even fathom what was going on, he regained his sight, and what he saw was the dark void of space expanding for as far as eyes could see, and within his line of sight, a small distance away was a massive disk of light that revolved in a circle at an unimaginable speed.

It was no ordinary light, as it radiated with an intensity that surpassed the brilliance of stars, and at the very center of this luminous disk was a peculiar anomaly, an ominous hole in space that defied all reason.

It was a swirling vortex, an abyss of infinite darkness, which Alex instantly recognized unmistakably as a massive black hole.

The space it occupied within its event horizon dwarfed what the Ancient world, a planet that was tens of times bigger than Earth in radius, did while Its accretion disk extended to vast length, encircling the black hole on a scale tens of times its size.

In this moment of surreal awe and terror, a myriad of emotions coursed through Alex’s consciousness as he processed the shock of finding himself standing in the void of space, erringly close to the massive black hole.

The panic that had gripped him earlier returned, threatening to engulf him completely. His heart raced, even though he couldn’t feel it beating, and his mind raced faster still.

He desperately searched for answers, attempting to make sense of the impossible. How had he ended up here? What was the purpose of this bizarre scenario? And most importantly, What was even happening to him? .

Amidst the chaos of his thoughts, a noise, distant yet resonant, resonated through the empty void of space, and it cut through the tumultuous sea of his emotions, a calming yet chilling presence that commanded his attention.

The space hundreds of meters away from him, which had been eerily still moments ago, underwent a profound transformation, and in an instant, a massive gateway materialized, a rift in the fabric of space itself.

From the rift emerged a figure with features that were both noble and imposing, with a finely chiseled face that bore the marks of ageless wisdom, bearing a small but enigmatic smile.

He was cloaked in robes of ashy gray and emanated an unmatched aura of grandeur and mystique while he had long, flowy gray hairs reaching his shoulder and abyssal eyes filled with dots like shimmering stars held a cosmic allure, all enveloped by an undeniable aura of authority.

Alex, still struggling to make sense of his situation, tried to move his eyes but realized he was just a mere spectator and nothing more as he could watch and not feel anything, not the cold of the space and not even the body he was inside.

Alex could only watch as the enigmatic figure approached and, in an instant, appeared just a few meters away from him, still carrying a smile on his face.

“Dark, it’s been a long time since we last met, and I am happy to see you, my friend, but I am also sad that this will be our last and final meeting,” The man spoke and liked to not disrupt his words the noise from the distance blackhole just vanished.

“Cosmorian, You will die, and so will everyone you have brought,” The entity addressed as Dark said, with his arms raised.

Alex observed the arms before him, long and refined, covered in muscles with every muscle fiber visible beneath the taut, shadowy skin that appeared to be even darker than the surrounding void of space.

“I wouldn’t be so sure,” Cosmorian replied, keeping his smile, and, like waiting for his words, space rift started to form all around in the vicinity, numbering in hundreds.

A colossal rift, spanning hundreds of kilometers, tore open with a thunderous roar that reverberated through the very fabric of space. Emerging from this rift was a gargantuan draconic entity, a creature of immense proportions possessing a total of eleven heads.

In a mesmerizing spectacle, hundreds of rifts ripped open across the expanse, and from these space gateways, an array of powerful beings emerged, each more extraordinary than the last.

Towering titans, their colossal forms defying comprehension, strode forth, causing the space to tremble under their might. Nightmarish entities, their grotesque shapes shifting and melding, soared and slithered with eerie grace. Humanoid figures, their presence resonating with the essence of various elements, changing the fabric of space itself with their mere presence.

“You disappointed me,” Dark said in an emotionless tone without even caring to glance at the emerging figures.

Cosmorian kept his smile and looked toward his right, and from a small right, a female with breathtaking beauty walked out, adorned in a dress of flowing element, resembling a tumultuous abyss of ever-shifting elements.

The colors swirled and writhed in a chaotic dance of unpredictable patterns and colors, embodying the turbulent nature of the law she wielded.

‘Sister…..’ Dark thought as he looked at the gorgeous female.
